Thank you, Judy, for the comments about 'my little cub scout'. Of course, I find them very insightful! I agree about the notion of breaking out of the mold with other media...I even fiddled with pastel once. But I still struggle with watercolor and wish to look for less realistic ways to use the medium before throwing in the towel.
